Repair Details
PLEASE NOTE: This is supplied as a repair service. You must send us your existing unit for repair. Each repair service includes an extended testing procedure normally valued between $295-$395 at no extra cost.
Critical Information
This is a test and repair service of the customers own unit.
The customer must send the ECM, key, EIS & ESL for testing/repairs
If you have an ECM that is dead (meaning you can not communicate with it using a scan tool) you can send the ECM alone for testing.
However - we always recommend for fully testing your ECM, please send the key, EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) and ESL (Electronic Steering Lock)
W221 S500; we need ECM, EIS and key only (these models has no electronic steering lock)
