    Common Faults
  • Transmission in limp mode
  • Dash displays: Transmission visit workshop or Transmission consult workshop
  • Transmission loss of drive, will not select drive.
  • Transmission slipping
  • Faults can be intermittent.
  • P0722 - The RPM signal from component Y3/9b5 (CVT (Continuously variable automatic transmission) output RPM sensor) is not available.
  • P0896 - Impermissible adjustment of the step down ratio in the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT)
  • P0793 - The RPM signal from component Y3/9b4 (CVT (Continuously variable automatic transmission) secondary RPM sensor) is not available.
  • P0717 - The RPM signal from component Y3/9b3 (CVT (Continuously variable automatic transmission) primary RPM sensor) is not available.
  • P0703 - The gear ratio in the CVT is not permissible.
  • P2722 - Impermissible closing of hydrolic brake 'Reverse Gear' has occured in the CVT when selector lever 'N' was engaged.
  • P2731 - Impermissible closing of hydraulic clutch 'Forward gear' has occurred in the CVT when selector lever 'N' was engaged.
  • P0894 - The steel thrust belt in the CVT is slipping
  • P1634 - Component Y3/9n1 is defective or the voltage supply is faulty.

    PLEASE NOTE: This is supplied as a repair service. You must send us your existing unit for repair. Each repair service includes an extended testing procedure normally valued between $295-$395 at no extra cost.

    • We will cover postage for sending the repaired unit back to you.
    • This is a prompt test and repair service of the customer’s own unit.
    • ALL INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED ON CHECKOUT.

  • All fault codes must be recorded and supplied with the unit.
  • Unit will be plug and play when returned (no extra coding required)
  • Fault codes WILL need to be erased.
  • Mechatronic Unit must be separated/removed from Valve Body, excess Transmission fluid cleaned and packed safely to avoid any physical damage during transit
